Yay!! Got Nominated For an Award!

As-salamu-alaikum (peace be upon you) pretty people! Hope you all are doing well! Ok…. ok… ok.. after reading, re-reading, re-reading and re-reading the post, checking the official site number of times… finally ..yes! yes!yes! I am nominated for a bloggers award, called “Liebster Award”. Now I have seen a few fellow bloggers getting nominated for different awards.. and wondered how I would get into one some day! And Alhamdulillah(Praise be to Allah), for the first time, I got nominated for this pretty award.

So what is this award for?

This award exists only on the internet, and is given to bloggers by other bloggers. Liebster in German means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome. It is given to those bloggers who have less than 200 followers. So that’s pretty awesome a way to reach out to newbies in the blogging world and help each other grow.

I was nominated by ThrifDee#dubai,  an amazing lady who is capable of making your mouth water within seconds, through her delicious and tempting recipes, all put in an easy way(so easy that a mess like me can also cook!lol). Now as per the award rules, I have to answer a few questions posted by ThrifDee#Dubai .. (I really had a hard+fun time answering them)

So here I go..

#1. What has been your most successful moment to date?

Not yet, but will be ..when I achieve two most important things in my life:

1.Earn and give my first salary to my parents.

2.When I complete Arabic With Husna(Arabic learning course) from Bayyinah.tv

#2. If you could change anything about the world right now, what would it be & why?

 Never thought of it. :p

#3. Why is your blog different from the rest? What makes it shine?

All bloggers have got their own charm and uniqueness, their own stories and lessons that life taught them.. Just like mine, each blog is unique and different in its own way. Where ever you bump in, you won’t leave without a lesson.

My blog is at first, a means for myself to improve and get better day by day. And no journey is fun, if you’re the lone traveler. So this blog is a means for me to get my companions on a long journey, of bettering oneself day by day, spreading positivity and making a better place to live in.

#4. If you could go back in time, which era would you go to?

1960’s, the time when my parents were kids.. I love it when my mum tells me, stories of her childhood, how they there were tiny villages, how the kids of an area played together, visiting farms, evening lady talks .. love every bit of it… especially how one had to wait for letters to be in touch with loved ones.

#5. Name your all time favorite song & why?

ummm… “meri maa” (my mother) from Taare Zameen Par  and “kahi toh” from Jaane Tu ya Jaane na :p — those who don’t know these.. these are bollywood songs! (Astaghfirullah) #Indian

#6. Apple or Samsung?

Micromax! (Indian brand). Never used any of the two. 😦 But despo for having apple! in sha Allah(if Allah wills), some day will have one.

Phew! done.. oh yeah, forgot about randoms..
