Hadith Of The Day – 20


Fasting doesn’t just mean to abstain from food and water. But it also means to abstain from every evil deed. Your tongue, your heart, your brain and every part of your body is fasting so keep them away from evil deeds. Read this hadith and understand it. Put it into practice.

Volume 3, Book 31, Number 127 :
Narrated by Abu Huraira

The Prophet said, “Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions, Allah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink (i.e. Allah will not accept his fasting.)”
