Hadith of The Day – 1 (Belief week)

SAHIH BUKHARI ~

Volume 1, Book 2, Number 15 :

Narrated by Anas

The Prophet said, “Whoever possesses the following three qualities will have the sweetness (delight) of faith: 1. The one to whom Allah and His Apostle becomes dearer than anything else. 2. Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah’s sake. 3. Who hates to revert to Atheism (disbelief) as he hates to be thrown into the fire.”

This hadith makes it evident and clear that FAITH or IMAAN is not just believing in the existence of one GOD but also the three other factors that actually account for a believer’s faith or imaan and the first one being the love towards our Rabb ALLAH (Azzawajjal) and His beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW).. while the second shows the basis of loving or favoring or liking a fellow Muslim and finally the hadith beautifully reminds us about the fear of the hell fire which makes our faith or imaan stronger…
